IPS e.max Alox Plunger Separator. This material prevents the molten material from sticking to the plungers during the pressing process in the furnace. The cold plunger is inserted into the opening of the container and rotated. The powder remains on the surface of the plunger and forms an insulating layer. A very small amount of separator is sufficient. Then the cold, separator-coated plunger is inserted into the hole in the annealed investment ring.
